Dian Hong Jin Zhen, or Yunnan Golden Needle, is a premium black tea made exclusively from golden buds harvested in Yunnan Province. This tea is characterized by its stunning appearance with abundant golden tips and its naturally sweet, malty flavor with no bitterness.

Origin

Yunnan Province, China. Produced from large-leaf Yunnan tea varietals grown in high-altitude regions. Only the finest golden buds are selected during early spring harvest. The name “Golden Needle” refers to the needle-like shape of the buds and their brilliant golden color after processing.

Brewing Instructions

Simple brewing method:

• For 0.5L: 3-4g of tea
• For 1L: 6-8g of tea
• Water temperature: 90-95°C (194-203°F)
• Steeping time: 2-3 minutes
• Re-steeping: Can be steeped 4-5 times

Golden Needle is very forgiving and maintains its sweet character throughout multiple infusions. It won’t turn bitter even with slightly longer steeping times. Excellent for morning or afternoon enjoyment.
