Origin

Ban Zhang mountain region, Yunnan, China. This tea comes from Qiao Mu (Arbor) trees, which typically denote older, ecological tea garden trees. The Ban Zhang terroir is famous for producing teas with a strong mouthfeel, pronounced bitterness that turns into sweetness (hui gan), and a commanding “Cha Qi.”
